New Braunfels’ Prohibition-Era Juke Joint
We are a locally-owned and operated small business, striving to responsibly execute delicious food and drinks in a friendly, welcoming environment. We believe in quality ingredients, attention to detail, and being sure every guest is completely satisfied with their experience. We recognize the importance of consistency as well as sustainability. We believe that people, both staff and guests, are driven to be a part of something that values them. We are a team driven business seeking to make a positive impact in our community.
My husband, Dave, and I bought The Oyster Bar, the seafood restaurant next door, with our partner and best friend Nathan, in 2013. We worked very hard to turn it around into a full-service kitchen and seafood bar, and we are very proud of what we were able to accomplish with The Oyster Bar. When the building next door became available, we decided to try our hand at yet another venture: pizza. We brought in another partner and good friend, Jason, and thought hard about a concept. We wanted to honor the history of the area, which was the home of Ludwigs Leather for over half a century, so we decided to feature the prohibition era. We are excited to grow as a part of the fabric of our community, and we look forward to whatever the future holds for us and for those that walk through our front doors.
